Content on this site is educational in nature and is intended to support certification preparation and clinical reasoning development for licensed healthcare professionals. It is not clinical advice, a clinical protocol, or a substitute for institutional policy, licensed clinical judgment, or current official certifier guidance.

Clinical information on this site reflects the understanding of the author at the time of publication and is subject to change as guidelines and evidence evolve. Verify current guideline thresholds, drug dosing, and clinical protocols against your facility’s published standards and current official sources before applying them in practice.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Anatomy of a Clinician and its operators are not liable for:

  • Clinical outcomes, professional decisions, or patient-care events arising from your use of site content
  • Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind, including loss of profits, data, professional reputation, or opportunity
  • Damages arising from your reliance on third-party content, services, or links accessible through the site
  • Damages arising from interruptions to or unavailability of the site or its content

If applicable law does not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of certain damages, the limitations above apply to the maximum extent permitted by that law. In no event shall total liability exceed the amount you paid to Anatomy of a Clinician in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100), whichever is greater.

The limitations above do not apply to liability arising from gross negligence, willful misconduct, or fraud.

Any dispute arising under or relating to these Terms or your use of the site shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts. If you are accessing the site from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws to the extent local laws apply.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect, and the invalid or unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable while preserving its original intent.
