Nature of the content
Content on this site is educational in nature and is intended to support certification preparation and clinical reasoning development for licensed healthcare professionals. It is not clinical advice, a clinical protocol, or a substitute for institutional policy, licensed clinical judgment, or current official certifier guidance.
Clinical information on this site reflects the understanding of the author at the time of publication and is subject to change as guidelines and evidence evolve. Verify current guideline thresholds, drug dosing, and clinical protocols against your facility’s published standards and current official sources before applying them in practice.
This material is designed to support certification preparation and clinical reasoning development. It does not guarantee exam performance, certification outcome, or endorsement by any certifying body.
No certification or accreditation
Completion of content on this platform does not confer certification, accreditation, licensure, or contact hours unless explicitly stated for a specific course at the time of enrollment. Anatomy of a Clinician is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by AACN, BCEN, or any other certifying body. Certification trademarks are the property of their respective owners.

If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Anatomy of a Clinician and its operators are not liable for:

Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes — for example, those that meaningfully expand restrictions on your rights, introduce new fees, or change governing law or dispute-resolution provisions — will take effect thirty (30) days after the date of revision unless you have agreed to the updated Terms or your continued use of the site after that date constitutes acceptance. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes via a notice on the homepage, an email to registered users, or a banner on the affected pages.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising under or relating to these Terms or your use of the site shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts. If you are accessing the site from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws to the extent local laws apply.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect, and the invalid or unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable while preserving its original intent.

Your use of the site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. By using the site, you agree to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.
